Volunteer at the Barn
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Barn Studio. Frankly, we wouldn't exist if it weren't for our beloved volunteers who do everything from teach classes, to feeding cats, to taking out the trash or even creating this website. Volunteering your services to the Barn means we can put our limited financial resources to things like paying utilities, buying art supplies for children's classes and providing scholarships to needy students.
For instance, did you know that a typical plumber's house call to fix a leaky toilet could provide scholarships for 2 underpriviledged art students? When you consider eveything it takes to keep the Barn operating, you quickly realize the importance of our volunteers. And volunteering doesn't mean you'll be taking on a second full-time job. Just a few hours a week of your specialty can yield huge benefits for everyone involved with the Barn Studio. Of course, if you can afford to give more time, that is appreciated as well.
