About the Barn Studio of Art

Since 1962, The Barn Studio of Art has been teaching area residents how to create various types of works in a relaxed, nurturing atmosphere set amidst an oasis of greenery in Millville, NJ.
While the studio has continued to grow over the years, with nearly four generations of students, Pat Witt, founder, said it was time for the facility to take an important step which will hopefully help to keep it open for many generations to come.
"It is in pursuit of this goal that we have founded The Barn Studio of Art, a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation," Witt, who is nearing her 81st birthday, said. "To keep the creative and intellectual freedom of The Barn's programs and its environment alive takes constant funding. The Barn environment needs constant maintenance, restoration and tender loving care to keep it going."
